| Jobs Summary | Myself Prerana Saha currently working as an Assistant Professor at Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai Arunachal Pradesh for last three years and before then I was the HOD incharge and the pioneer of Sociology Department at Dibrugarh Hanumanbox Surajmal Kanoi College,Dibrugarh for almost two years and from 2nd August 2016 to 13th April 2018 I was the faculty of Lahowal College,Since for last 7 years 8 months of my teaching experience I have been teaching the subject and realised that Sociology as a subject not only help us to understand the society and social issues from scientific perspective but also the subject help us to develop a perspective towards society and social issues which is very important.I try to inculcate the same perspective amongst my students too and I think that make my teaching more interesting than any other. |
| Roles and Responsibilities | Apart from teaching the subject for last 7 years I have also take part in each and every extra curricular activities of the institutions.
Conducted exams for different courses and also act as an invigilator for different academic sessions and also for different competitive exams such NEET ,GATE,CTAT,APSSB and many more in all three institutions.Moreover I had Coordinated one day workshop on Research methodology organised by IQAC cell,AUS, apart from that also working as a Departmental IQAC coordinator for last one year at AUS and also act as an internal member of Board of Studies,Dept of Sociology.AUS. |
| Skills and Competencies | I have the zeal and enthusiasm to teach Sociology which is very important for any teacher and I can make my students understand each and every topic in a easy language and currently I have been also teaching NET aspirants students for last one year. |
